This disclosure explains how electronic records and electronic signatures are used in signing workflows powered by SekyuSeal.
1. Consent to Electronic Records
By checking the consent box and proceeding to sign, you agree to receive and sign records electronically for the current transaction.
2. Legal Effect of Electronic Signature
Your electronic signature is intended to have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature to the extent allowed by applicable law, including ESIGN and UETA in the United States and comparable frameworks in other jurisdictions.
3. Hardware and Software Requirements
- A device with internet access.
- A current web browser.
- Ability to open, view, save, and print PDF files.
- Ability to receive transactional emails.
4. Obtaining Paper Copies
If you need a paper copy of a signed record, request it from the organization that sent you the document.
5. Withdrawing Consent
You may decline to sign electronically before completion of the transaction. If you withdraw consent, the electronic workflow may not be completed and the sender may offer an offline process.
6. Scope
This disclosure applies to the transaction you are asked to sign. Ongoing account-level terms for service use are governed separately by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
